Get a jolt of Latin energy with “DESCARGA LATINA”!
&
DANCE THE NIGHT AWAY!

Presented by

Winnipeg's newest Latin dance band brings together three of the city's seasoned Latin American musicians, Marcelo Ulloa (vocals), Gerardo Munòz (timbales) and Carlos Diaz (congas) who, with a fresh blend of live percussion and vocals with the added element of great orchestration through the use of a sequencer, will have you dancing to Latin music full of passion with a sizzling beat.

*Performers subject to change

*Folklore Festival 2010 will not be able to feature The Imbayakunas on Saturday this year at Folklore. Members of the group are still in Ecuador waiting for the return of their passports with valid visas to enter Canada. While the visas have now been granted by the Canadian Embassy in Columbia, their passports with the visas have not yet arrived in Ecuador to allow The Imbayakunas to fly to Canada.

However, the HOT Latin Band, “DESCARGA LATINA” from Folklorama fame in Winnipeg will now rock the house on Saturday.

Special thanks to Folklorama and Christian Hidalgo-Mazzei, Folklorama Agency Producer, for giving us a great Latin connection that helps us still bring HOT Latin music to Folklore Festival 2010!
